Senator Rick Scott (R-FL) released a video to the public, making his case that people should buy and share American products this holiday season, especially avoiding products from China. Sen. Scott blasted the Chinese government and accused it of gross, inhumane business practices, including the usage of slave labor.

"As you're shopping for friends and families this holiday season, I want to encourage you to support American businesses and buy American made products. I know you hear me say it all the time, but here's why we need to do it," said Sen. Scott. "Communist China is actively targeting Americans to destroy our economy, hurt our families and weaken the United States."

Furthermore, the Florida senator had to warn the public of Chinese garlic, an issue he's been alerting the American public about for months.

Scott's war on Chinese goods directly affects Florida farmers. China refuses to  buy Florida produce that is grown from genetically engineer seeds, so the soon-to-be senior senator from the state is also demanding that Floridians only buy "Florida Fresh" produce.

"The evil government of Communist China lies and doesn't play by our rules or follow our regulations. They don't value our way of life or care about our health or safety. Here's just a few examples," said Scott. "Reports show that Chinese grown garlic is grown in raw human sewage and harvested using slave labor, kids, cups made in common China were recently recalled for containing dangerous levels of lead, and numerous cosmetic products have been called again and again for containing unsafe chemicals."

Finally, Scott pleaded with citizens to "think twice" about Chinese products this holiday season.

"This is about the safety of you and your family, so when you're shopping for food, gifts and everyday products and see made in China, think twice about if it's safe for you and your loved ones. My choice is clear. I'll be buying American and supporting American workers. Happy Holidays and God Bless," concluded Scott.

Rick Scott recently announced the formation of the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) Congressional Caucus. The endeavor has the blessing of Health and Human Services (HHS) nominee Robert F. Kennedy Jr. It intends to focus on "nutrition, access to affordable, high-quality-nutrient-dense foods, improving primary care, and addressing the root causes of chronic diseases" and "build a stronger and healthier America."

The Florida senator stated that he looks forward to working with RFK Jr. to improve the health of Americans nationwide.

“As the incoming Chairman of the Senate Special Committee on Aging, I want to give my full endorsement of the official Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) Caucus," said Sen. Scott. "From the day we are born, we start aging—and my goal is that every American has the resources and information to live long, happy lives. If you have your health, you have everything and I am looking forward to working with my fellow MAHA members and RFK Jr. to Make America Healthy Again.”
