President Joe Biden (D) recently claimed in Concord, New Hampshire, that world leaders warned him that former President Donald Trump (R) "cannot win" and that "his democracy" is at stake. Representative Mike Waltz (R-FL) blasted the remarks in a recent appearance on Fox Business's Varney & Co., pointing out the foreign policy failures and rhetoric coming from Democrats.

"You know what? Democracy is at stake for the Israeli people right now. You have [Senate Majority Leader] Chuck Schumer (D-NY) calling for regime change in the middle of a war with a democratically-elected government," Rep. Waltz began, referring to Sen. Schumer's calls for new parliamentary elections in March.

The Florida Congressman was just getting started when he asked, "What happened to democracy that we were supporting in Afghanistan and their fight against Islamic extremism that is now coming roaring back, threatening the world? How about the freedom fighters in Cuba or Venezuela that did not even get a peep of support? In fact, you got a relaxation of sanctions with Maduro?"

By these, Rep. Waltz was referencing the Afghanistan withdrawal of 2021 that cost 13 American soldiers their lives and left behind billions of dollars in equipment for the Taliban and the Biden-Harris Administration's relieving of sanctions against the regime of Nicolas Maduro in Venezuela.

But Waltz was not done yet, turning to the domestic sphere.

"And then, if you want to talk about the progressive left, all of this rhetoric about Trump, how about the actions they are taking to stack the Supreme Court, to eliminate the filibuster, to eliminate the Electoral College, and on and on?" the former Green Beret continued.

Democrats have discussed adding more Supreme Court justices to the bench and eliminating the Electoral College, while Vice President Kamala Harris (D) recently spoke in favor of eliminating the Senate filibuster.

"That is the threat to democracy. So what [Biden] is accusing is what his left is actually doing, and the legislation is real, and I am talking actions rather than alleged rhetoric," Waltz concluded.
