The House Oversight Committee hearing with IRS whistleblowers Gary Shapley and the now-identified Joseph Ziegler seemed to only bolster the case against President Joe Biden and son Hunter. Representative Byron Donalds (R-FL) discussed on Fox's Ingraham Angle how House Democrats "didn’t try to attack the credibility of the IRS whistleblowers because they knew the agents were credible & factual."
"Notice in yesterday’s hearing Dems didn’t try to attack the credibility of the IRS whistleblowers because they knew the agents were credible & factual. That's why they only wanted to focus on Trump. There's serious problems with our bureaucracy & it'll take @HouseGOP to fix it," Rep. Donalds tweeted.

One notable moment came when Representative Dan Goldman (D-NY) seemingly confirmed President Joe's involvement, or at least awareness, of Hunter's business dealings, such as through the infamous WhatsApp message. Rep. Donalds described how IRS investigators sought to retrieve location data yet blocked by the Assistant United States Attorney (AUSA).
"If you are trying to track down the flow of money and see how deep your investigation goes, you simply get the location data. The [Department of Justice] stopped the investigators from doing that," said Donalds.
Host Laura Ingraham also asked Donalds how House Democrats could question Ziegler's testimony on how he and other agents were stonewalled in their investigation and intimidated not to pursue further.
Donalds' answer came in the above clip, where he pointed out the Democrats did not necessarily question the credibility of Shapley and Ziegler, but instead tried to deflect focus onto former President Donald Trump.
"In the hearing today, the Democrats did not even bother going at the credibility of Mr. Ziegler and Mr. Shapley because they knew that would be utterly ridiculous. All they wanted to do was focus on Donald Trump. That is all they did through this hearing, and it was disgusting. No talk about the money that Hunter Biden, [Joe's brother] Jim Biden, and Joe Biden were taking from foreign countries. They did not acknowledge the fact that there is an international pay-for-play scheme going on with the Biden family. They only want to focus on Donald Trump," Donalds stated.
Moreover, Donalds suggested the Democrats' deflection away from Biden and focus on Trump "is indicative of what is going on with Jack Smith and Merrick Garland."
"And I think it is indicative of what is going on with Jack Smith and Merrick Garland right now. It is just funny that these two whistleblowers come forward today, and all of a sudden, there is a new indictment with Donald Trump going on. There are serious problems at the Department of Justice, and it is going to take House Republicans to get to the bottom of it," Donalds concluded.
