Senator Marco Rubio, a Republican, was in attendance Tuesday night at President Donald Trump’s 2020 re-election campaign rally in Orlando, Florida.
Does it sound odd that a Republican U.S. Senator would attend a rally of a Republican president in his own state.
Well, New York Times Reporter Michael Barbaro thought it was “very strange” to see Sen. Rubio “smiling and chuckling in the audience.”
In case you didn’t know who Barbaro is, or what his claim to fame was, Rubio decided to give the Twitter world a little insight into the Times reporter, and respond to the reporters tweet.
“As opposed to smiling & chuckling at a rally for a radical liberal candidate for President who will undo policies to confront China, reduce regulations & taxes, defend liberty in Venezuela & protect the unborn?” tweeted Rubio.

Rubio continued:
“BREAKING… In an unprecedented move a Republican Senator attended a rally in his home state in support of the re-election of a Republican President.”
And more Rubio:
"BTW, this is the same reporter who in 2015 after 3 weeks of meticulous investigative journalism uncovered that my wife had traffic tickets, I had a fishing boat & my home has big windows. And in 2016 he broke the story that I had some boots with higher heel."
Rubio had arrived to the event on Air Force One with fellow Floridian’s Sen. Rick Scott and Rep. Matt Gaetz.
