The New Year is here and Florida Speaker of the House Richard Corcoran is that much closer to announcing that he will run for governor of Florida. The second worst kept secret in Florida politics is that Speaker Corcoran will be running for governor in 2018. With his Watchdog PAC already pushing his legislative achievements on a weekly basis, his run to be the state's top executive appears imminent.
Corcoran is once again reminding Floridians of the work he has done to crack down on out-of-control state government regulations and spending, touting the $10 billion in taxes the legislature has cut since 2010.
While he hasn't been the speaker for 7 years, Corcoran has been part of the Republican-led legislature under Gov Rick Scott who have helped "Make Florida Great" again.
We can expect Corcoran's Watchdog PAC to continue pushing these legislative accomplishments far past this expected gubernatorial announcement, if and when that formal announcement comes to pass.
By cutting over $10 Billion in taxes since 2010, Floridians can keep more of their own hard-earned paycheck. #Flapol #Sayfie pic.twitter.com/IkRSwZ4BvN
