During a recent press conference with reporters, President Donald Trump was asked if he was "considering" Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi for a position in his administration.
Trump , who said he was "very close in making a decision on UN ambassador,"confirmed that he is considering Bondi for a post, but would not elaborate more.
In addition, Trump said he was not ready to make a choice for U.S. Attorney General to replace General Jeff Sessions, but did praise his acting-Attorney General Matt Whitaker for the work he has done so far.
When reporters asked about Bondi, Trump responded:
"I’d consider Pam Bondi for anything...I know her very well...In some form, I'd love to have her in the admin. .. we have great people.”
Bondi is term-limited out of office, and has been high on Trump's list of possible AG candidates.
