The latest Fox News poll shows that generically, Democrats have a 7-point advantage over Republicans in the 2018 midterm election.

The survey of 1007 likely voters has a 3%+/- margin of error and was conducted October 13-16.

While the numbers have hiked up a bit for Republicans, this generic poll does help the GOP with less than 3 weeks before election day.

The poll also shows the usual things.

Americans strongly disagree with how the U.S. Congress is doing, and are very mixed with President Trump’s presidency.

The Fox poll is not alone. Three other polls conducted during the same period show Democrats up by as many as 11 points.

With Florida being the biggest swing state in the country, the close ‘toss-up’ congressional districts tell the whole stole.

Congressional districts 25, 26, and 27, which are currently held by Republicans, are all up for grabs. These races are within the margin of error of any poll.

The U.S Senate race between Gov Rick Scott (R) and Sen. Bill Nelson (D), as is the governor’s race between Rep. Ron DeSantis (R) and Mayor Andrew Gillum (D), are both within the margin of error.
