'They Decided to be Our Enemy': Scott Criticizes Adversary China

Share

Senator Rick Scott (R-FL) appeared on Fox Business with Maria Bartiromo and discussed the presence of China's adversarial nature in American life. Sen. Scott did not hold back in his assertion that China has chosen to be an adversary of the United States and pleaded with Americans to stop buying Chinese products and services.

"But the reality is, look, [China] decided to be our enemy. They decided," Sen. Scott said.

Scott continued by pleading with Americans to refrain from using Chinese apps or buying Chinese stocks because they want to "destroy your way of life" as an adversary of the United States.

"Don't buy their stuff, don't buy their stocks, don't buy their services, don't buy their apps, don't get on Tiktok, don't do these things," said Scott. "It's helping their government that wants to destroy your way of life. This is simple to me. Stop doing it. All Americans have to show up and stop doing this. We have to decouple from doing anything with Communist China wants to destroy you and is killing Americans every year with fentanyl."

Moreover, Bartiromo questioned the legitimacy of completely cutting off economic and cultural ties to the Chinese Communist Party, asking if it was realistic.

Scott replied by saying, "It's hard" and that "this doesn't happen overnight, no, but we can start today. If everybody starts doing it today, it will happen sooner than you think.”

Earlier this month, Senators Scott, Ted Cruz (R-TX), Ron Johnson (R-WI), Roger Marshall (R-KS), Mike Rounds (R-SD), and Thom Tillis (R-SC) reintroduced the Falun Gong Protection Act. The bill aims to sanction those who participate in the horrors of Forced Organ Harvesting, especially those targeting Falun Gong practitioners in China.

According to Freedom House, millions of Chinese participate in Falun Gong, a combination of religious practices from former Eastern Hemispheric traditions such as Buddhism and Taoism.

Sens. Cruz and Scott's bill would also require the Secretary of State to report to Congress on organ transplant policies and practices of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and end American and Chinese ties in the organ donation sphere realm.
