Trump Seeking Restraining Order on Border Wall Sales

Share

Last week, a bombshell report uncovered that the Biden Administration is allegedly auctioning off sections of the border wall, and President-elect Donald Trump (R) has issued a response. The report incited condemnation from Republicans, who argued that the incumbent president is trying to thwart President-elect Trump’s plan to seal the border. President-elect Trump has now announced that he is seeking a restraining order against the Biden Administration because of the border wall sales.

The president-elect is the latest Republican to comment on the alleged sales, calling it “a criminal act.”

Last week, Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick (R) commented that the Lone Star state would bid on the border parts, buy them, and deliver them to the Trump Administration. The Lt. Governor assured that the state has the money in its budget for border security.

However, President-elect Trump is now seeking legal action, noting that scalpers are trying to buy the border wall sections and then attempting to sell them back to the President-elect at a higher price.

During a press conference at Mar-A-Lago, President-elect Trump slammed the sale of the parts, suggesting that President Joe Biden (D) is in fact attempting to sabotage his plans to build the border wall.

“This administration is trying to sell it for 5 cents on the dollar, knowing that we’re getting ready to put it up” he said regarding the sale of the border wall parts. “What they’re doing… it’s almost a criminal act.”

“They know we’re gonna use it, and if we don’t have it, we’re gonna have to rebuild it, and it’ll cost double what it cost years ago, and that’s hundreds of billions of dollars,” he added.

To stop the sale, President-elect Trump is pursuing a restraining order after speaking to Texas’ attorney general and the senators of the state.

“I’m asking today: Joe Biden, please stop selling the wall,” President-elect Trump implored the incumbent administration. “We’re gonna use that to create a strong barrier – and it worked.”
