Scott Launches 'Make America Healthy Again Caucus'—By The Floridian's Jackson Bakich—Senator Rick Scott (R-FL) announced the formation of the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) Congressional Caucus. This endeavor has the blessing of Health and Human Services (HHS) nominee Robert F. Kennedy Jr. It intends to focus on "nutrition, access to affordable, high-quality-nutrient-dense foods, improving primary care, and addressing the root causes of chronic diseases" and "build a stronger and healthier America."

Steube Slams 'Christmas Parade of Horribles' CR Bill—By The Floridian's Daniel Molina—The "Plan B" bill to fund the government has failed, and President-elect Donald Trump (R) is not happy. Some Republicans in congress also share the sentiment, but the bill has drawn a line in the sand between Republicans who supported the bill and those who argue it's just "business as usual." Ahead of the vote, Florida Rep. Greg Steube (R) spoke against the CR bill, calling it a "Christmas parade of horribles."
