Giménez Calls President Biden 'a Pathological Liar'

President Joe Biden (D) has pardoned his son Hunter Biden, and the political world has a lot to say about it. The incumbent president announced the pardon last evening, and both Republicans and Democrats have voiced their disapproval of the move. Florida Rep. Carlos Giménez (R) criticized the presidential pardon, admitting that President Biden is "a pathological liar."

The pardon shocked some as President Biden and the White House had consistently affirmed that the president would not be pardoning his son. When asked, President Biden would affirm his willingness to accept due process. However, late Sunday evening, the president backtracked on his promise, providing a "full and unconditional" pardon because "it is clear that Hunter was treated differently."

Hunter Biden was scheduled for sentencing on December 12 for gun and tax evasion charges, which President Biden argues were politically motivated.

Responding to the pardon during an interview on Fox Business, Rep. Giménez shared that he was not surprised by the pardon, but he does believe that the pardon also helps President Biden avoid prosecution in the future.

"He's been lying for 40 years. What makes you think he's not lying about his son?" Rep. Giménez questioned.

The Florida Republican pointed out that the pardon indicates that federal agencies have been weaponized to help some and oppress others, commenting, "I think the weaponization started under the Obama Administration... President Biden has doubled down on it." "This whole case is a great example of the weaponization," he noted.

Rep. Giménez also explained how the pardon could affect the president himself, citing Hunter Biden's controversial involvement with Burisma.

"This pardon is not just about Hunter Biden. It's about Joe Biden too. He's covering his tracks. It goes all the way back to January of 2014 right before Burisma. Remember that famous little document that said that he got $5,000,000, and Hunter got $5,000,000 for firing the prosecutor who was looking into Burisma," he detailed."
