America will decide if it wants a new President tomorrow, and the world will watch. Representatives Mike Waltz (R-FL) and Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) blasted the last four years of Biden-Harris Administration foreign policy during a weekend appearance on Fox News's One Nation, with the Florida Congressman saying, "literally, their bad policy is fueling the Russian war machine."
Rep. Waltz meant that "underscoring all of this is the Biden-Harris completely ridiculous energy policy. They shut down the Keystone XL pipeline on day one; they have an LNG (liquified natural gas) ban right now, [and] they lifted sanctions on Russia's Nordstream II. And the reality is, they are constraining our oil and gas and forcing the world to buy from the likes of Venezuela, from Iran, and from Russia."
As a result, he added, not only does this mean Russia can continue its war in Ukraine, but this incoherent system "is fueling the Iranian war machine; they are pumping that cash out to the terrorists. They are helping Hamas and Hezbollah rebuild. And if you simply flood the world with our oil and gas, you dry up their cash."
More to the point, Rep. Waltz noted that South Korea and Japan are willing to buy American oil and gas but cannot.
Rep. Crenshaw suggested the current state of foreign affairs could prove a boon to former President Donald Trump if he is reelected because "he has an amazing opportunity to actually make good on his promise because there is a paradigm shift in foreign policy, there is a paradigm in leadership. So he can actually do what he said he wants to do, which is get Russia to the negotiating table and create peace. But you have to be strong to do that. You have to escalate to de-escalate, in a way."
After all, the Texas Congressman continued, "Trump has the history of actually leading by peace through strength. He has actually walked that walk. A lot of people say it, but they do not understand it. He has actually walked the walk. He has an amazing opportunity here to put them back on their heels on the battlefield but also strangle them economically, which Biden has refused to do."
