Trump Leads Harris by Razor Thin Margins on Eve of What Could be a 'Photo Finish' Election

Share

Former President Donald Trump is leading Vice President Kamala Harris in the latest polls as election day looms, but the 2024 general election presidential race is razor thin and could come down to a photo finish.

In the general election, President Trump enjoys a 56% to 42% lead over Vice President Harris in terms of betting odds

Traditional polling data show Trump leading Harris by a slimmer margin of 1% to 2%, with some polls showing the former up 49% to 47% and others claiming the latter is up 49% to 48%.

With the election process set to conclude tomorrow night, the race could not be any tighter.

Trump and Harris are both focusing their last efforts in key swing states, as these could unlock the White House for either candidate.

According to Fox News, Trump’s latest rallies have been in Lititz, Pennsylvania; Kinston, North Carolina, and Macon, Georgia. His running mate, J.D. Vance, was in Raleigh, North Carolina; Aston, Pennsylvania, and Derry, New Hampshire.

Harris, meanwhile, campaigned in Michigan, where she attended church in Detroit and made stops in Livernois and Pontiac before holding a rally in East Lansing. Her running mate, Tim Walz, held events in Atlanta and Gwinnett County, Georgia, as well as Charlotte, North Carolina.

Trump has attempted to emphasize issues regarding the economy, immigration, and national security to attract undecided voters dissatisfied with the Biden-Harris administration’s policies in these areas.

“If Kamala wins, you are 3 days away from the start of a 1929-style economic depression. If I win, you are 3 days away from the best jobs, the biggest paychecks, and the brightest economic future the world has ever seen,” said Trump

Harris, meanwhile, has attacked Trump for his alleged anti-immigrant rhetoric, lack of experience, and abortion policies.

“Women must have the freedom to make decisions about their bodies and their futures — and no elected official should stand in their way,” claimed Harris.

As both candidates make their closing arguments, America could soon be experiencing a historically tight election come Tuesday night.
