Donalds Claims U.S. is Currently 'Leaderless' Under Biden

The White House is hollow now. At least, this is what Florida Rep. Byron Donalds (R) argued this Thanksgiving weekend. As Americans gather around the table and give thanks, Republicans are thankful for a victory in November, but they’re worried about the incumbent presidency. According to Rep. Donalds, ‘we’re leaderless right now," but things will change with the next administration.

Rep. Donalds, a member of the House Oversight Committee, unloaded on the current administration during an interview with Fox News.

“We’re leaderless right now,” the Florida congressman warned. “There is no president of the United States.”

Noting that conservatives are thankful for the “decisive” victory in November, he commented that they’re also fearful of what’s to come as the Biden Administration comes to an end. “There is nobody in the White House right now leading our country.”

The key difference for the GOP lawmaker between the Biden Administration and the Trump administration is that “under Joe Biden, [world leaders] were ignoring the White House.”

Under the incoming Trump Administration, Rep. Donalds believes that the White House will be respected once again.

“Leaders around the world fully understand that Donald Trump means business, that if he says he’s gonna do something it’s going to happen, that he’s not gonna be weak-kneed, he’s not gonna look at polling, he’s not gonna be talked backwards by bureaucrats, it’s going to be ‘peace through strength.’ Everybody understands that,” Rep. Donalds expressed.

Since President Trump's victory earlier this month, political shifts have reportedly occurred.

Rep. Donalds noted that Hamas has signaled that it's open to a ceasefire deal with Israel, Russia and Ukraine have signaled that they're open to a deal that would end the war between each other, and Mexico has expressed an interest in working with the United States to curb the flow of illegal immigration.
