Internal polling from the Republican Party of Florida (RPOF) suggests former President Donald Trump will secure a comfortable electoral victory in Florida come November's presidential elections.
RPOF polling reports president Trump leads Vice President Kamala Harris 51% to 44% (Trump +7), with other candidates at 2% and 3% of voters undecided.
Florida voters largely appeared to prioritize issues relating to immigration, the economy, and abortion.
RPOF chairman Evan Power boasted of the poll’s results.
“Our polling shows what any sane observer already knows: Florida is not in play for Kamala Harris and the Democrats,” said Chairman Power. “President Trump has a strong lead over Kamala Harris here, and this has been consistent in both public and private polling for months.”
The RPOF poll also shows Trump with leads amongst Hispanic voters.
According to RPOF, Trump leads Harris among all Hispanic voters, 56% to 40%, and holds a 69% to 31% advantage with Cuban voters.
The poll additionally depicts Trump as having the support of 20% of African American Florida voters.
Trump’s rise amongst minorities has captured media headlines, as polling suggests he’s made gains from previous races.
Recent polls show a similar lead of Trump over Harris in Texas.
In the latest Florida Atlantic University polling conducted by Mainstreet Research, the group surveyed 811 registered voters between Oct. 2-6, all living in Texas. Trump holds a five-point lead over Harris (D) in the poll. This includes a margin of 50-45 percent with two percent of those surveyed choosing another candidate, and three percent undecided.
National polls depict a tight race, with Harris leading Trump by few percentage points mostly within the margin of error.
Amongst swing states, the presidential race is nearly dead-even.
As we approach the final weeks of the presidential campaign, Trump and Harris are expected to centralize campaign efforts in cities and areas with undecided voters whose support could unlock the doors to the White House.
