Vice President Kamala Harris's answers to foreign policy questions in her recent 60 Minutes interview continue to draw criticism, with her not committing to aiding Taiwan if China attacked. Representative Cory Mills (R-FL) discussed Harris's response in a recent appearance on Fox Business's Evening Edit, saying the Vice President "has no idea what is actually taking place."

Harris told Bill Whittaker that she would "not get into hypotheticals" on China attacking Taiwan, adding that she would retain a One China policy that still included aiding Taiwan's ability to defend itself.

Rep. Mills suggested that this answer only demonstrated the Biden-Harris Administration's incompetence on the world stage, as "this is why you see the Abraham Accords falling apart and not advancing itself like it did under the Trump Administration. This is why you saw Russia's aggression continue to pick up; they knew that there was no response. The failed foreign policy, the delisting of the Houthis, the attack on Israel on October 7th, this all comes under a weak administration."

Additionally, Rep. Mills pointed out that an INDOPACOM (Indo-Pacific Command) strategy to counter a potential invasion is already in place, which is "why it is important for us to maintain our relationship not so much with China but with our quad agreements, with our trilateral and bilateral agreements, knowing that 72% of China's refuel supply capability has to go through the Indian Ocean."

Hence, the Florida Congressman continued that the Chinese had created BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa).

Host Elizabeth MacDonald brought attention to a worrying reveal that Chinese hackers breached several U.S. broadband providers, including AT&T and Verizon, which Mills said demonstrated the need "to do a better job knowing that this is going to be a continuation, to increase and bolster and know where we are from a warfare perspective. It is not just bomb and bomb, gun and gun, bullet and bullet; it is economic, resource, cyber, and supply chain warfare, and we have been in that for +20 years with China and have ignored them, and the Democrats will still compete that they are competitors, not adversaries."

"Well, I am here to tell you that China is an adversary, the [Chinese Communist Party] is an adversary, and we need to start prioritizing what American interests are," Mills concluded.
