Donalds Brutalizes Harris's Efforts to Retain Black Male Voters

Share

Vice President Kamala Harris has been attempting to retain the Black male vote as the 2024 Presidential Election comes down to the wire, introducing multiple policies for their supposed benefit, which were savaged by Representative Byron Donalds (R-FL) in a recent appearance on Fox Business's Mornings with Maria, saying he had "no idea what she is talking about."

Host Maria Bartiromo began the discussion by touching upon former President Barack Obama's recent remarks to Black male voters in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he suggested the reason former President Donald Trump is gaining ground with African-American men is because "you just aren't feeling the idea of having a woman as president."

Rep. Donalds quickly refuted Obama's remarks, beginning with his contempt for the remark by saying, "Every time I see that clip, it just pisses me off even more."

"First of all, it is not about Kamala Harris being a woman. It is about the fact that Kamala Harris has not really done anything in particular for any American, let alone Black men. What has she done in the last 1,400 days as Vice President to warrant Black men, or any other subgroup in our country, voting and supporting her? She has done nothing. To the contrary, she is the deciding vote that caused massive inflation that has hurt so many families in our country," Rep. Donalds continued.

The Florida Congressman further denounced Harris as "phony" and "the same pandering that citizens are furious with politicians about."

More to the point, Bartiromo went through Harris's recent list of proposed policies designed to retain Black men, including marijuana legalization and "forgivable loans" up to $20,00 for Black entrepreneurs, asking what she is talking about.

"I have no idea what she is talking about," Donalds replied bluntly, "but this is the same Kamala Harris who said a few years ago that there was not going to be any, quote-unquote, 'bills for Black people,' because if it works for all Americans, it would work for Black people. I am telling you, Maria, she is just throwing things against the wall because she is losing this campaign and because she is part of one of the worst economic policies and economic outcomes in American history, her and Joe Biden. She is losing ground with everybody."
