He is admired by many for his staunch pro-Israel position and his unwavering war against antisemitism, but Rep. Randy Fine is hated and condemned by the pro-Palestinian, pro-Hamas, and antisemitic factions in today’s society, including the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).
Rep. Fine is the antichrist to fundamentalist Muslims.
CAIR, the “unindicted co-conspirators in a Texas terrorism support case,” has come out swinging against Rep. Fine over a “tweet” he made on “X” about the killing of Turkish-American “human rights activist” at the hands of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF).
After activist Aysenur Ezgi Eyg was shot and killed by the IDF for hurling rocks at its soldiers, Rep. Fine stated, "Throw rocks, get shot. One less #MuslimTerrorist.”
That statement infuriated CAIR and its Florida Chapter.
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, and its Florida chapter (CAIR-FL) today called for the Florida legislature to censure of state Rep. Randy Fine after he posted an anti-Muslim tweet celebrating the murder of Turkish-American human rights activist Aysenur Ezgi Eygi and appeared to call for more killing,” said CAIR-FL Communications Manager Wilfredo Ruiz.
Echoing the call to have Rep. Fine censured, the group’s national deputy executive director tried to say that Fine’s priorities and responsibilities were with the country of Israel, not the U.S.
“Once again, Rep. Fine has exposed his reprehensible hatred for not only American Muslims, but our nation's state values. The Florida House of Representatives should censure him for celebrating the murder of an American citizen by a foreign government and encouraging the killing of more Americans. Elected officials have a responsibility toward America, not the Israeli government,” added CAIR National Deputy Executive Director Edward Ahmed Mitchell.
“We struggle to think of another time in modern American history when an elected official openly celebrated the murder of an American by a foreign government and encouraged more such killing. Randy Fine has made it clear where his priorities lie, and it is not with the American people. We urge the Florida House of Representatives to censure him for this hateful, un-American rant.”
Fine scoffed at CAIR’s statements, saying that they were just “sad about the death of one their fellow terrorists.”
“CAIR is a primary American supporter of Muslim terror. It's no surprise they are sad about the death of one of their fellow terrorists. I am not. #BombsAway,” said Fine in an statement to The Floridian.
On February 1, 2024, the Republican-led Florida State House of Representatives voted 98-15 to condemn CAIR, calling it a terrorist organization.
The resolution was filed by none other than Fine, with Reps. Michelle Salzman, Tom Leak, Alina Garcia, Kimberly Daniels, and Jeff Holcumb, having co-sponsored the measure.
