US intelligence officials unveiled individuals associated with Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign received stolen Trump campaign information from Iran. The Federal Bureau of Intelligence (FBI), Central Intelligence Administration (CIA), and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) revealed the information.
According to a joint statement, “Iranian malicious cyber actors in late June and early July sent unsolicited emails” to Biden-Harris campaign staffers.
Such activity was not limited to June and July, however.
“Iranian malicious cyber actors have continued their efforts since June to send stolen, non-public material associated with former President Trump’s campaign to U.S. media organizations,” continues the statement.
Former President Donald Trump shifted blame towards Vice President Harris, alleging she was “illegally spying on me.”
“THE FBI CAUGHT IRAN SPYING ON MY CAMPAIGN, AND GIVING ALL OF THE INFORMATION TO THE KAMALA HARRIS CAMPAIGN. THEREFORE SHE AND HER CAMPAIGN WERE ILLEGALLY SPYING ON ME,” said President Trump.

The intelligence reports follow an investigation into Iranian hackers obtaining and dispersing sensitive Trump campaign information.
Harris spokeswoman Morgan Finkestein claimed Harris’ campaign cooperated with the appropriate law enforcement authorities since we were made aware” of the information leak.
Iran, according to US intelligence, has engaged in a widespread attempt to undermine confidence in the upcoming elections.
The leakage of Trump campaign information is but one of several avenues Iran has exploited to attack the US, which have reportedly included planned assassination attempts.
Iran was reportedly planning to assassinate Trump before he suffered his first assassination attempt.
