Hollywood—Florida Rep. Byron Donalds (R) spoke to The Floridian about how he doesn’t believe American voters will be “fooled” with the new political makeover the Democratic Party is doing on Presidential nominee Kamala Harris, to include her Foghorn Leghorn impersonation.
"No, I don't think the American people are gonna be fooled at all. She has a track record. It'd be one thing if nobody ever heard from her before and she never said anything before
But she's on the record being the most liberal member of the United States Senate when she was a senator. She was a very liberal person running for president five years ago now four or five years ago. She was going to run to the left of Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren that's just playing crazy, and I think people are going to be fooled by it.
It's going to be a tight race, but Donald Trump is going to come out on top, and then we're going to get back to the business of making America great again.
Rep. Donalds also told The Floridian that he believes a new poll taken in Florida showing both former President Donald Trump and Senator Rick Scott having dropped support, was nothing to be concerned, asserting that he believes both men will win by 7-9 percentage points in the state.
