President Trump to Visit the Border

Share

As the Democratic National Convention comes to a close, former President Donald Trump (R) will be visiting the southern border. President Trump will be visiting the U.S. Southern Border in Cochise County, Arizona at 11:30 A.M. MST.

President Trump has made illegal immigration and the southern border the focus of his campaign, and Vice President Kamala Harris (D) has often been criticized for not going to the southern border. In fact, dubbed the “Border Czar,” the vice president has received scrutiny from Republicans for mishandling rising rates in illegal immigration.

Announcing the trip to the border, the Trump campaign further criticized Vice President Harris, commenting that “despite nearly 10 million illegal immigrant crossings in the last three and a half years, at least 99 individuals on the terrorist watch list being released into our country, deadly drugs like fentanyl being peddled in by cartels and poisoning American communities, and a huge increase in crime and chaos caused by illegal immigrants – there is no end in sight for Kamala Harris’ border crisis.”

If Vice President Harris is elected to continue the agenda of the Biden-Harris Administration, the president argues that America will be stricken with “more violent and deadly crimes committed by illegal immigrants.”

“Americans like Jocelyn Nungaray, Laken Riley, and Rachel Morin would still be alive if it weren’t for Kamala’s neglection to secure our border,” the message reads, noting that “over half of the total fentanyl polls that enter our country originate from the Arizona border.”

Leading up to the announcement of Wisconsin Governor Tim Walz (D) joining Vice President Harris on the campaign trail, Arizona was in the spotlight as Arizona Senator Mark Kelly (D) was considered to be on the shortlist for her vice president.

The state, which is a battleground state, currently has President Trump leading the incumbent vice president by one point according to the latest CBS News poll.
