Stolen Valor?

The recent embellishment of Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz has pressed Republicans around the nation to offer poignant Stolen Valor rebuttals to the Minnesota governor’s claim that he experienced combat while in the U.S. Military.

Walz did serve oversees but never was deployed to a combat zone like Republican vice presidential candidate, Senator JD Vance.

Florida Rep. Cory Mills, who did deploy to Iraq while a member of the U.S. Army’s 82^nd Airborne Division, echoed the disgust of other combat veterans,

“This guy's trying to continue the lie in an effort to try and see if he can gain military favor from veterans when the real combat veteran and vice president in the future will be JD Vance,” said Rep. Mills.

Sen. Vance was the first to tear into Gov. Walz’s combat claim.

“I wonder, Tim Walz, when were you ever in war,” said Vance. “He has not spent a day in a combat zone … I’d be ashamed if I was him and I lied about my military service like he did.”

Walz made the claim that he served in combat during an address he made in support of gun restriction.

“We can make sure those weapons of war, that I carried in war, are only carried in war,” stated Walz.
