Florida Republicans Reach 1 Million Voter Registration Advantage

Just as Florida Democrats have taken a deep sigh of relief after Vice President Kamala Harris replaced President Joe Biden in the 2024 presidential election, Florida Republicans are reminding their political counterparts that hold a commanding  1 million voter registration advantage over them.

“Florida. Today there are ONE Million more Republicans. Strong Republican leadership works,” stated the Republican Party of Florida (RPOF) on social media.

Incoming Florida Speaker of the House Daniel Perez, credited the scores of Republican grassroots leaders that helped the state party reach the milestone over the past several decades, even as Republicans began to outpace Democrats in voter registration during both President Donald Trump and Governor Ron DeSantis’ first terms in office.

Today’s milestone reflects decades of hard work by so many Republican Party and grassroots leaders. It’s a testament to how conservative leadership can help grow our party for generations to come. Thank you to everyone who has helped our party reach this historic achievement," said Rep. Perez.

Florida Democrats are largely ignoring the steep voter registration climb the face and are trying to stay positive with their volunteer training efforts.
