Bryan Leib
U.S. House District 25 hopeful Bryan Leib (R-FL) has received the endorsement of CPAC (Conservative Political Action Conference) as he attempts to challenge longtime incumbent Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) for her seat.
Leib released a statement following the news of the endorsement, calling both his campaign and CPAC part of the “America First” movement.
"Our ‘America First’ campaign to defeat career politician Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, the ‘Deep State’ in Washington D.C., stand with President Donald J. Trump, and the American people is honored to receive the endorsement from the premier Conservative grassroots organization, the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC),” said Leib. “CPAC is an 'America First' juggernaut that is committed to helping ‘America First’ congressional candidates like me defeat Deep State Bureaucrats including former FBI officials and socialist Democrats like Debbie Wasserman-Schultz.”
He continued by saying he is “honored” to receive CPAC’s support as endorsements keep rolling in for the candidate.
“I am honored to have CPAC’s support going into election day and I look forward to speaking on the CPAC Main Stage next year as [a] Florida Congressman. Let’s all work together to ‘Make America Great Again’ and stand with President Donald J. Trump,” concluded Leib.
The approval from CPAC joins a flurry of influential political figures to endorse Leib including three Members of Congress from the Sunshine State – Representatives Byron Donalds (R-FL), Cory Mills (R-FL), and Brian Mast (R-FL).
The endorsement from Rep. Mast came on the same day that The Floridian shared that his primary opponent in District 21 – supposed Christian pastor Rick Wiles (R) – called him a “traitor” for serving in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
He also stated, “Brian Mast is an Israel agent embedded in Congress. He is a national security risk. Mast should not have access to any national security documents or information that would be helpful to Israel. You cannot serve two countries with or without legs.”
In speaking to Israeli officials with knowledge of foreigners volunteering in the IDF, The Floridian has learned that Mast and others before him who volunteered with the IDF did not have to swear an oath or make a commitment to the Jewish State.
Florida’s primary election – for both Leib and Mast – is Aug. 20.
