President Joe Biden’s Afghanistan withdrawal debacle continues to haunt the lame duck president as the Taliban mark three years since regaining full control of the country.

The Taliban commemorated its expulsion of US forces by holding a parade boasting the millions of dollars in US equipment they were able to scavenge from abandoned US military assets.

As reported by The Floridian’s Daniel Molina, the Taliban also celebrated at Bagram Air Base, which was formerly a U.S. military stronghold.

The celebration and parade featured American-fortified military vehicles, helicopters, motorcycles, and thousands of soldiers sporting American military equipment.

US Representative Brian Mast (R-FL), a combat military veteran, condemned President Biden as well as Vice President Kamala Harris for the Taliban;s return to power.

”Kamala Harris, you are complicit for defending this disaster,” said Representative Mast.

Vice President Harris previously proudly backed Biden’s decision to withdraw from Afghanistan in the manner that he did.

In an interview with CNN, Harris boasted Biden heavily relied on her when making consequential decisions, including withdrawing from Afghanistan.

Harris affirmed she was “the last person in the room” the day withdrawing from Afghanistan was decided.

Political fallout from the Afghanistan withdrawal, which left over a dozen US troops dead and hundreds of american allies stranded in the country, continues.

Earlier this year, a 2-year supplemental review into the August 26 terrorist attack at Kabul’s airport revealed how ISIS-K has resurfaced in Afghanistan thanks to the Taliban’s rule.

The terror attacks were executed by one of the thousands of ISIS-K members the Taliban released from a pair of detention centers in August 2021 as the US retreated its forces.

US Representative Mike Waltz (R-FL), who introduced theAbbey Gate Gold Star Families Dignified Transport Act to support the families of the deceased soldiers, blamed President Biden for ISIS-K’s resurgence.

“This Admin’s new frenemy in Afghanistan - the Taliban who was trusted to maintain perimeter security at Abbey Gate during the withdrawal in 2021 - have allowed ISIS to re-emerge, and these terrorists are now rapidly growing again, potentially into our homeland,” said Representative Waltz.
