Trump Denounces Project 2025

Social media has been inundated with voters sharing posts warning of an incoming "Project 2025" should President Donald Trump (R) assume office. Billed as a pathway to establish "an effective conservative administration," Project 2025 has been linked to President Trump. However, what connection does the project truly have to the president? In a social media post responding to the link, President Trump refuted any connection to Project 2025, calling it "ridiculous and abysmal."

The project, organized by the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank, claims to build upon the pillars of a conservative policy agenda, personnel, training, and a 180-day playbook.

As voters continue to share warning posts regarding Project 2025, questions surrounding President Trump's involvement with the Heritage Foundation have been a topic of contention on social media. The president has now responded to the concerns.

In a social media post, President Trump said he knows "nothing about Project 2025."

"I have no idea who is behind it. I disagree with some of the things they're saying and some of the things they're saying are absolutely ridiculous and abysmal. Anything they do, I wish them luck, but I have nothing to do with them," President Trump further commented.

He did not specify what parts of the project he disagrees with, and he also didn't mention the parts he believes "are absolutely ridiculous and abysmal," but his comments are sure to receive criticism from supporters who might support the project.

During an appearance on Steve Bannon's "War Room," Heritage Foundation Kevin Roberts expressed that the United States finds itself in the midst of a "second American Revolution," adding that it will be bloodless "if the left allows it to be."

Project 2025 includes plans for dismantling aspects of the federal government as well as removing thousands of civil servants in favor of conservatives who are committed to implementing the project.
