Republicans Issue Scathing Remarks on Future of Biden in Office

Share

After directing a letter to Democrats on Capitol Hill to back his presidency, President Joe Biden (D) is reportedly “incredibly busy working the phones.” In a bid to invigorate his campaign after stirring controversy over his presidential debate performance, the president is scheduled to make calls throughout the week. President Donald Trump (R) continues to rise in the polls, and Republicans are sharing scathing remarks over President Biden’s future.

The fallout from the presidential debate has led to Democratic infighting regarding the future of the Biden-Harris ticket. Despite assuring Democrats this week that he is “firmly committed to staying in this race,” some Democrats have shared that they would like to see someone different as the Democratic nominee.

Florida Republicans are no fans of President Biden, and after President Trump had a strong showing at his Doral rally, Republicans have become empowered to share their thoughts regarding the incumbent president’s future.

Rep. Carlos Gimenez

Florida Rep. Carlos Gimenez (R) argued that Democrats “are forced to recommit” to President Biden because the president “doesn’t want to voluntarily withdraw.”

Florida Rep. Brian Mast (R) disregarded statements claiming that the president just had a “bad night” during the debate.

“Everyone knows he didn’t have a bad night,” Rep. Mast said. “He had just another normal day for him. The only difference is the whole world saw it on live unscripted tv.”

“Despite his obvious cognitive impairment, Biden is too stubborn to step aside, so Democrats must feel they have no choice but to support him,” said Florida Rep. Greg Steube (R). “Whether it’s Biden or someone else, whoever the Democrats nominate will be a continuation of the same horrible policies that have put our nation in decline. Instead, Rep. Steube notes that “the American people know President Trump is the only choice to make our country strong and safe once again.”

Florida Rep. Kat Cammack (R) also weighed in on the race, arguing that “much like their policies, this is Dems in disarray only the political version.” “They have a candidate who can’t win against Trump, but if they switch him out, they lose their base.”

“It’s a lose-lose for them,” she posited.
