**UPDATE--The Floridian has learned that the shooter is down.
Former President Donald Trump appears to have been shot in the right ear during Saturday's rally.
The shot appears to have come from the right side of the stage, and the former president was whisked away by Secret Service.
President Trump pumped his fist to the crowd as he was pushed into the waiting SUV.
"The Former President is Safe," stated the Secret Service
In a statement to The Floridian, Rep. Brian Mast, who heads Veterans for Trump, stated:

The Trump campaign has responded to the shooting.
