Mast Slams Pro-Hamas Protestors in D.C. Burning Flags, Desecrating Monuments

Representative Brian Mast (R-FL) condemned pro-Hamas protestors in Washington, D.C. as Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke at a joint session of Congress on Wednesday. Demonstrators were seen pulling down and burning the American flag, chanting “From the river to the sea,” and desecrating national landmarks.

Rep. Mast, an Army veteran, vehemently disapproved of the actions of the protestors with several posts on social media, taking a shot at Vice President and likely Democratic nominee for president, Kamala Harris (D).

“I fought and bled for the American Flag. My friends lost their lives in battle for the American Flag. And when they came home, the American Flag was draped over their caskets. Yet, the people Kamala Harris is courting burn the American Flag. Shame on them,” said Rep. Mast.

Moreover, Mast lambasted the demonstrators and their anti-American rhetoric and anti-U.S. flag exploits in D.C.

“TERRORIST sympathizers just cheered while pulling down the American Flag. These are the people Kamala Harris is courting. The American Flag doesn’t mean anything to them, but it means something to all of us,” Mast stated.

Additionally, the Florida congressman called out Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) for “flirt[ing] with radical leftists” as protests rage on.

“Chuck Schumer should do the right thing and schedule a vote on our bill to sanction the International Criminal Court for unfairly targeting Israel. But he’d rather flirt with radical leftists who hate America as much as they hate the only Jewish homeland on earth.”

Finally, while speaking to the media, Representative Byron Donalds (R-FL) recently declared Vice President Kamala Harris’ (D) absence from Prime Minister Netanyahu’s address to be “anti-Semitic.”

“What she said to every Jewish member of our country is that the Democrat Party has a serious anti-Semitism problem. And it is a serious problem. For the leaders of the Democratic Party, who is now apparently Kamala Harris, to not be at a joint session while Benjamin Netanyahu is speaking to Congress, speaking to the American people, and for her to no-show him at the airport, to no-show him when he speaks at Capitol Hill? Apparently, there’s probably some side meeting they’re doing behind closed doors with no cameras? Do they value Jewish people in our country? Do they value Israel, or do they not? It appears to me that they do not,” said Rep. Donalds.

This is a developing story.
