Florida Rep. Lois Frankel (D) has defeated previous Republican challengers, but could she be ousted in November? House district 22, President Donald Trump's (R) home district, has just received a boost that Republicans feel could give them a House seat. Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani (R) has endorsed Dan Franzese (R) in his bid to unseat Rep. Frankel.
Franzese is running on an "America First" platform, and he wants to be a conservative voice in the House to help President Trump deliver his political agenda. He was previously the 2022 Republican Nominee in Florida's 22nd Congressional district, winning 45% of the vote in the general election. Though he lost in said race, he is credited with having run the most competitive challenge against the six-term incumbent Rep. Frankel.
Aside from being a successful businessman and a community leader, Franzese lists himself as a problem solver with a decades-long track record of success in a wide range of leadership roles. Similar to President Trump, Franzese is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business wherein he earned his MBA in 1989.
In a statement, Mayor Giuliani enthusiastically shared his support, calling him "by far the most experienced and qualified Republican candidate in this race." "He is best positioned to defeat Lois Frankel, the Biden-backed incumbent, next November."
Mayor Giuliani noted that "President Trump will need a Congress he can rely on to get our country back on track, and Dan Franzese is the only candidate in this race who President Trump can count on to support his agenda."
"We need Dan in Washington because he understands what needs to be done to stand up to the swamp and special interests in D.C. Dan will fight for families, small businesses, veterans and our military. We can count on him to secure our borders, jump-start our economy, support Israel, and defend the U.S. Constitution," Mayor Giuliani continued.
Calling Franzese "the fighter for the change we need in Washington, DC.," Mayor Giuliani concluded by affirming that Franzese "will deliver for the people of South Florida's 22nd Congressional District."
