Florida Conservatives Pounce on Democrats as Walls Cave in on Biden

Share

Florida Republicans are capitalizing on broadening Democrat intra-party disarray vis-a-vis President Joe Biden’s candidacy.

Governor Ron DeSantis claimed Democrats are “scrambling” after Senator Jon Tester (D-MT) called for President Biden to step aside.

Senator Tester has become the 28th lawmaker to publicly request Biden not run for reelection while numerous others have done so clandestinely

“The Dems/media engaged in a years-long coverup of the fact that the POTUS was not fit for duty,” said Governor DeSantis. “Now they are scrambling — not because they are concerned about Biden being unable to do the job, but because they think he will lose and bring them down with him.”

Even former President Barack Obama, one of Biden’s longest allies, has reportedly claimed Biden’s campaign could cost Democrats the House of Representatives.

Senator Rick Scott (R-FL) called the ongoing Democrat crisis a “coup d’etat.”

”The Dem elites wanted him gone, Biden resisted & now they have turned the press & party against him to force him out,” said Senator Scott. “The White House & Biden campaign better preserve records.”

Biden is currently self-isolating after being diagnosed with COVID earlier this week.

However, despite acknowledging winnowing support, Biden’s team is assuring voters he will remain in the race.

Biden Campaign Chair Jen O’Malley Dillion told MSNBC Democrats “have a lot of work to do to reassure the American people that yes he’s old, but he can win.”

Were Democrats to manage jettisoning Biden, it remains unclear who the party’s new presidential candidate would be.

Senators Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Ted Cruz (R-TX) speculated likely candidates would include VP Kamala Harris or former First Lady Michelle Obama.
