Waltz Condemns Biden's Lack of Action Against Putin's North Korea Visit

Russian President Vladimir Putin recently visited North Korea to bolster its war effort against Ukraine, deepening their alliance. Representative Mike Waltz (R-FL) blasted the Biden Administration's apparent lack of concern in a recent appearance on Fox Business's Varney & Co., saying the White House's only response is to send more money to Ukraine.

Host Stuart Varney suggested the meeting "is solidifying the New World Order" and President Biden's weakness on the world stage is allowing it to happen, to which Rep. Waltz agreed.

"I would like to see much more in the way of both alarm and action from the Biden Administration," said Rep. Waltz, noting the benefits Russia gains from their alliance with North Korea, namely in munitions and war materiel.

"This means that from Russia's standpoint, they will have a virtually unlimited stockpile of artillery shells, ballistic missiles, and munitions that North Korea has been stockpiling for 70 years. And then on the flip side of that, North Korea gets advanced technology for its ballistic missiles, its nuclear weapons program, and space program that it can use to threaten the entire world," the Florida Congressman continued, going so far as to call the pact "an evil, unholy alliance."

As a result, Waltz demanded to know why the Biden Administration has not acted more forcefully in response to this troubling development, such as intercepting shipments or toughening sanctions with international consensus.

"We are basically seeing a shoulder shrug, and the only answer out of this administration is, 'sign more multibillion-dollar blank checks to Ukraine or somehow you are pro-Putin. It is just the most simplistic, non-strategic thinking I have ever seen," Waltz said disapprovingly, concluding, "November cannot come soon enough."

Russia's visit and alliance with North Korea come days after the Florida Congressman made recent comments in a previous Fox appearance, blasting the Biden Administration for failing to prevent the ongoing war in Ukraine.

"The war should have never happened in Ukraine. Deterrence failed. Biden practically invited Russia to do it with demonstration after demonstration of weakness, from Nordstream II to a summit after they hacked our largest pipeline, the Colonial pipeline in the United States," Waltz previously stated, claiming former President Donald Trump's return to the White House was necessary.
