While most of the nation's eyes are looking at the Presidential election in November, Florida is seeing an equally significant contest between incumbent Senator Rick Scott (R-FL) and former Representative Debbie Mucarsel-Powell (D-FL), who hopes to unseat him in what many are calling a longshot bid, especially now that Sen. Scott has been endorsed by over 100 county commissioners for his reelection.

The former Governor of Florida, Senator Rick Scott, announced a significant milestone in his reelection campaign. After speaking at the Florida Association of Counties Annual Conference and winning the Legislative Excellence Award, he revealed a lengthy string of endorsements from over 100 county commissioners. This overwhelming support underscores the weight of his influence and the trust placed in him by local leaders.

"It's an honor to receive endorsements from so many local leaders across the Sunshine State. I have worked with many of these County Commissioners since I was Governor to ensure that Florida's local governments have the necessary support to serve the many diverse needs of their communities. Whether it's public safety, emergency services, or maintaining Florida's beautiful public lands, these leaders are responsible for so many services that affect the everyday lives of Floridians. As Senator, I will always serve as their voice and advocate for Florida's counties in Washington. From disaster funding to protecting Florida's environment, fighting for Florida's local communities has been one of my top priorities in Washington, and I will continue to do so when I'm re-elected," said Sen. Scott.

Such an impressive number of endorsements comes days after the Florida Senator lobbed an attack on Mucarsel-Powell, accusing her of being "complicit" in the recent rape of a 13-year-old girl by an illegal immigrant in New York City let into the country by the Biden Administration.

"Will she condemn the border crisis [Biden] created? Will she commit to voting to deport these dangerous illegal aliens? As long as she remains silent, she is complicit. Blood is on her hands, too," Scott declared.
