Trump Declares 'Very Sad Day for America'

President Donald Trump (R) was in court again today as the jury continued to deliberate. The jurors were asked to surrender their phones during deliberation and were only to discuss the case when all 12 jurors were together in the Manhattan courthouse. President Trump spoke to reporters outside the courthouse, admitting that it's "a very sad day for America."

12 New Yorkers are preparing to determine if President Trump is guilty of 34 felony charges of falsifying business records in relation to a hush money payment that was allegedly made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels before the 2016 presidential election.

The jurors have deliberated for more than 9 hours, and President Trump continues to deny that he had an affair with Daniels as well as deny that he made any payment to her.

Outside of the courthouse, the president criticized the legal proceedings, assuring that "the whole world is watching, and it's a very sad day for New York." "I've gone through two of these trials already with the same kind of judge. It's all worked. it's all rigged. The whole thing, the whole system is rigged. Judge Engorin was overturned five times in my case, and he's gonna be overturned again."

President Trump shared that he has been "treated very, very badly," and he also insinuated that the way he has been treated could also have negative implications on the state of New York.

"The outside world is watching, and the outside world is just not gonna bring their business to New York. That's gonna cost the city trillions and the state trillions and trillions of dollars. Businesses are leaving, and people are fleeing."

Prosecutors have accused President Trump of allegedly disguising the money as a legal payment and falsifying business records numerous times in efforts to "promote his candidacy."
