With all the buzz of Senator Marco Rubio being on the very short list to be President Donald Trump's vice presidential running mate in 2024, I will humbly assert that I have been talking and writing about this possibility for many, many moons, far longer than anyone else.

Rubio was instrumental in helping Trump beef up his foreign policy bona fides, and in conversations and interviews with The Floridian over the past several years and during the Trump years, Rubio divulged that he had taken a broader foreign policy role with the administration.
But Rubio's legislative footprint was not solely made on foreign policy.
With the help of his daughter Ivanka, Trump signed into law one of Rubio’s legacy pieces of legislation, his child Tax Credit measure with Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) that was included in the broader American Rescue Plan during the COVID pandemic, as well as the PPP program Rubio assisted in drafting that helped save American small business during onset of the pandemic.
In addition, Rubio’s VA reform bill was one of the bills first signed in law.
Oh, and Rubio is a major supporter of Israel. Call him a hardliner.
The protests against the State of Israel and in support of Palestine continue to make headlines as violence has begun to break out, yet the Biden Administration has done little in response. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) discussed the protests in a recent appearance on Fox News, dismissing the protesters as "zombies" who are the result of twenty years of indoctrination, Biden's silence about them, and whether or not agitators and outside influence are driving the protests.
