The City of Doral in Miami Dade County finds itself immersed in incredible controversy over its recently passed resolution that calls for “an immediate and permanent end to all hostilities” in  Gaza, The  West Bank, and in Israel. Doral Mayor Christi Fraga introduced the resolution that was penned by  “Free Palestine” activist and lawyer Zohra Mehdi Khorashi, who has been accused of being an antisemite by the non-partisan U.S.-based organization, Stop Antisemitism.

The controversial resolution, which does not specifically call for a “ceasefire,”  but does call for “all hostilities” (Same thing?) to end including the military operations of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), cites the Hamas-controlled Gaza Health Ministry’s reporting of the alleged killing of 13,000 children in Gaza.

The resolution also states language being used by the likes of "enemy of America" Rep. Rashida Tlaib,  West Bank, and other places as  being part of  the “occupied Palestinian terrorities."

Note that Hamas' charter states that it looks to annihilate Israel.

Khorashi, who was recently fired by her law firm for allegedly making incendiary statements on Instagram, told Axios that using the term “ceasefire” was controversial because "one side feels that you're basically telling them that they don't have a right to defend themselves."

"But that's not what we're saying," said Khorashi, who praised Fraga for sponsoring the measure. "We're asking for the [end] of the killing to preserve innocent civilian life."

It appears as if Mayor Fraga, who once voted to strip away the keys to the City of Doral from former President Donald Trump, and Khorashi (Pictured) has forged a close relationship in the weeks, and days leading up to the resolution being adopted.

Again, Khorashi has been called an antisemite, and while she denies making antisemitic comments on social media, and denounces being called an antisemite,  her posting of propaganda deemed by some as antisemitic, or anti-Israel, is evident on her Instagram page. Khorashi has been pushing the narrative that Israel is committing "genocide" in Gaza.

Khorashi has been posting pro-Palestinian memes, videos,  and pro-Palestinian statements,  that can be perceived as propaganda coming out of the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip. Some of this propaganda includes defending college students "peacefully protesting" on college campuses.

Before and on October 7, 2024, the day Hamas terrorists slaughtered 1,200 innocent Israelis, including babies, Khorashi was only posting about her family life in South Florida.

Khorashi did not post, nor has she posted on social media denouncing the Hamas attack in Israel and the killing of innocent children and babies.

Her postings after October 7th were sporadic, leading one to believe that some posts may have been deleted. Starting on November 2, Koreshi began her condemnation of Israel’s response to the terror attack, only showing solidarity for Palestinians and their children apparently without mentioning the atrocities committed against Israelis by Hamas terrorists, let alone the hostages taken and still being held.

Khoreshi refers to Hamas terrorists as "resistance fighters," compared Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Nazi Adolf Hitler, and has even promoted a meme of Yemenis rallying in support of Palestinians and calling for a world war.

Khoreshi appears to be showing sympathy for martyrdom.

"Just remember—when a tyrant dies, his rules is over, but when a martyr dies, his rule begins," stated Khorashi.

She continues, this time she called out Democratic Congressional members from Florida (most of them Jewish-Americans) who supported the recent measure to send military aid to Israel.

Khoreshi pointed out that Reps. Lois Frankel, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick, Kathy Castor, Frederica Wilson, Darren Soto, and Jared Moskowitz, all voted in favor of the funding for Israel.

Will more municipalities with Florida follow Mayor Fragi's lead in calling for an end to all "hostilities," which translates to a "ceasefire?"
