The workload and travel schedule Rep. Matt Gaetz (R) had put upon himself is nothing less than exhausting, but the popular congressman from Florida’s 1st District is now adding another big move on his plate—putting together a reelection campaign.
The Floridian has learned that Rep. Gaetz has put together his tight nit campaign against former Rep. Kevin McCarthy-supported “DEI-loving Aaron Dimmock," whom he recently kneecapped for supporting the Division, Equity, and Inclusion initiative.
“Team Gaetz is proud to announce our campaign is staffed up and ready for total victory! We are excited to crush BLM supporter, DEI-loving Aaron Dimmock, and send him packing back to his home in Missouri where he belongs,” said Joel Valdez, Gaetz’s newly-appointed Campaign Manager.
Valdez currently serves as Gaetz’s congressional communication director but will take unpaid leave along with Austin Bury and Larry Hetu to run the reelection efforts.
Bury will serve as Operations Director and Hetu will be the campaign’s Volunteer Coordinator.
Veteran consultant Ryan Smith will serve as the General Consultant for the campaign, and Gaetz’s Chief of Staff Jillian Lane Wyant, will be the Senior Advisor on the campaign.
