Donalds: Biden is a 'Threat to Democracy'

Representative Byron Donalds (R-FL) appeared on CNN and described President Joe Biden (D) as a “threat to democracy.” While on the news network, the Florida representative listed what he believes to be President Biden’s shortcomings as he approaches the end of his term in the Oval Office.

“Joe Biden has been a disastrous president, and he has also been a threat to democracy,” said Rep. Donalds. “Check this out: He has suppressed the free speech of the American people during COVID-19. He forced members of our military to take the COVID-19 vaccine when they did not want to and now that all the facts are out, they destroyed their military careers. He's ignored the Supreme Court not once but twice when it comes to the student loan bailout. He has ignored federal law leaving our borders massively open.”

Rep. Donalds continued, “So, if you're going to talk about who's a threat to democracy it’s without a question, Joe Biden has been that threat. Violations of separation of powers, violations of the First Amendment just because he wanted to get his way, that is not good for an American president who just uses and changes the law based upon his own whim his own desires, his own politics. That is wrong.”

Finally, the Florida congressman accused the President of not adhering to the oath of office he took on Jan. 20, 2021, when he swore to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America.

“And so I think if you were to try to bring out what happened on January 6, versus the four years of Joe Biden's presidency, Joe Biden is the one who's not been protecting our institutions. He's not been protecting our Constitution. He's actually been a major detriment to the very pillars of our nation,” said Donalds.

Recently, Donalds blasted the Biden administration for reversing Trump border policies once arriving at the White House.

“Donald Trump had this border secure when he was President of the United States. When Joe Biden came in, the first thing he did was rip up Trump’s border policies simply because they were put in place by Donald Trump. It was a very stupid decision by Joe Biden. The country has suffered as a result,” said Rep. Donalds.

The Florida congressman represents the Sunshine State’s 19^th District.
