Bean Rips Biden for Allowing Chinese, Fentanyl Over Border

Share

Over 50,000 Chinese nationals have illegally crossed the border, and fentanyl manufactured in their homeland and smuggled into the United States continues to kill thousands of Americans every year. Representative Aaron Bean (R-FL) discussed these issues in an interview with The Floridian, reiterating that "when you vote for Joe Biden, that is what you are voting for."

Representative Greg Steube (R-FL) told Fox Business's Maria Bartiromo on Monday that over 30,000 Chinese nationals have entered the country since October, on top of the 20,000 who have crossed the border since President Biden took office. He warned that such a surge in numbers was unlikely for benign reasons.

Rep. Bean reminded us that "there [are] also gotaways where we do not even know- we think they came in, we do not really know- the gotaways. What kind of word is "gotaways" anyway? But they were never checked, and then we do not even know who else is in," bluntly adding, "It is a freaking open border. It is on the hands of Joe Biden."

The conversation turned to fentanyl, where Rep. Bean described speaking with two families who had lost a loved one to the notoriously deadly drug.

"Their kid was not a drug addict, did not have a problem. Took one pill, one pill [emphasis his], [and] never woke up. One of them was in college, and his roommate said, 'Hey, I have a cold. I need help sleeping. Why don't I take this? Thought it was a cold medicine, took it, never woke up," Bean described.

The Floridian reminded the Florida Congressman that former Representative Ted Deutch (D-FL) lost his nephew in similar circumstances.

"It's crap," Bean said bluntly, "When are we going to say, 'enough?' But when you vote for Joe Biden, that is what you are voting for. People need to know who you are voting for. I know everybody says, 'Oh, well, at least he is not Donald Trump."

Bean concluded by reminding us that the border was the most secure it has been in the past ten years under Trump, for "we did not have silly policies like catch and release, where we literally release you into the United States. You [have] broken our law? We just release you; you get a court date. The average right now is six years; that is 2030. That is when you show up for court."
