Morning Consult Poll Shows Trump Over Biden With all Voters

President Donald Trump (R) has fared better than expected in the court of public opinion, and a new poll shows that the Republican challenger continues to win with the voters. A new Morning Consult poll indicates that President Trump is leading President Joe Biden (D) with all voters.

The poll, which surveyed 6,236 registered voters between April 5th and April 7th of 2024, found that 44% would vote for President Trump compared to the 43% that would vote for President Biden. 8% of those surveyed said they would vote for someone else while 5% either had no opinion or didn't know who they would vote for.

Out of those surveyed, 86% of Democrats said they would vote for President Biden, and 6% said they would vote for President Trump, while 5% said their vote would go to someone else. 2% said they did not know or had no opinion.

In contrast, 90% of Republicans said they would vote for President Trump, 4% said they would vote for President Biden, 5% said they would vote for someone else, and 2% said they did not know or had no opinions.

Among Independents, 36% said they would vote for President Trump, 34% said they would vote for President Biden, and 19% said they would vote for someone else.

The latest poll shows a continued shift towards support for President Trump. President Biden on the other hand has received scrutiny on numerous issues, extending from the economy, his handling of the border, and his stance on the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas.

The incumbent has even been criticized by members of his own party, who have vowed to campaign against him should he not change his stance on the war between Israel and Hamas.

Despite this, the Biden campaign remains positive given that abortion will be on the ballot in November, and in Florida, a state the campaign hopes will flip blue, voters will decide the future of Amendment 4.
