President Joe Biden (D) has finally responded to President Donald Trump (R). Earlier this month, President Trump challenged "Crooked Joe" to a debate. During an interview with Howard Stern, President Biden responded to the challenge by saying that he would be "happy" to debate President Trump.
Howard Stern spoke to President Biden this week, and during their conversation, Stern asked him if he planned to debate. In response, the incumbent said "I am, somewhere. I don't know when. I'm happy to debate him."
Joining President Trump in calling for a debate were a dozen news organizations who penned a letter urging that both candidates debate.
President Biden did not provide any information about the debate, but this is the closest that voters have gotten to both candidates agreeing to verbally spar on a stage.
President Trump commented on the incumbent's words, saying that the president doesn't intend on debating him and is only saying he will to show face. On Truth Social, President Trump wrote that "Crooked Joe Biden just announced that he's willing to debate! Everyone knows he doesn't really mean it, but in case he does, I say, ANYWHERE, ANYTIME, ANYPLACE."
"I suggest Monday Evening, Tuesday, Evening, or Wednesday Evening at my Rally in Michigan, a State that he is in the process of destroying with his E.V. Mandate," President Trump added.
The Republican challenger also commented on his legal proceedings, once again accusing the Biden administration of election interfering. If President Biden is really serious about debating, President Trump says, then he would consider debating him at the courthouse.
"He's in New York City today, although probably doesn't know it, and so am I, stuck in one of the many Court cases that he instigated as ELECTION INTERFERENCE AGAINST A POLITICAL OPPONENT - A CONTINUING WITCH HUNT!" President Trump wrote.
"It's the only way he thinks he can win. In fact, let's do the Debate at the Courthouse tonight - on National Television, I'll wait around!"
