In Enterprise, Alabama, a 23-year-old illegal immigrant has been charged with first-degree rape of a 14-year-old mentally incapacitated girl. Representatives Vern Buchanan (R-FL) and Troy Nehls (R-TX) shared their disgust and possible solutions to the problem.

Rep. Buchanan mentioned that this crime was “completely avoidable.”

“Another example of a completely avoidable, horrific crime committed by an illegal alien. Congress needs to pass my bill to ensure dangerous predators like this are deported and never allowed back into our country ever again,” said Rep. Buchanan.

The bill Buchanan is referring to is his Protecting Our Communities from Sexual Predators Act. The legislation aims to ensure that undocumented migrants convicted of sexual assault are “deported and permanently banned from the United States.”

In congruence with announcing this bill earlier this month, the Florida congressman stated, “Illegal aliens who sexually assault and rape American citizens have absolutely no place in our society. Shockingly, illegal immigrants who commit sexual assault are not immediately deportable, which is why we need to pass this commonsense legislation to keep these deranged and dangerous predators out of our country and help protect our communities.”

Rep. Nehls described the situation as the “sad reality of Joe Biden’s America.”

“An illegal alien has been charged with raping a 14-year-old girl. This is the sad reality of Joe Biden’s America. Biden could secure the border today and put America first, but he refuses to do so,” said Rep. Nehls.

Last month, the Texas congressman said “I was right” in sending a letter to address Venezuelan prisoners entering the United States after they were released from prison.

“In 2022, I led a letter to Secretary Mayorkas regarding a report about Venezuela releasing criminals from prison early and pushing them to head to the US. I was right in sending this letter. In the past week alone, we've seen the tragic consequences of releasing Venezuelan nationals into the country. It's time to put Americans first—not violent Venezuelans,” said Representative Troy Nehls (R-TX).

Rep. Nehls also provided an example of an illegal immigrant breaking the law after being released by law enforcement under the Biden White House.

“This is Renzo Mendoza Montes, a Venezuelan national. He crossed the border illegally and was released into the country by the Biden Administration. He’s been arrested by Virginia authorities in connection with a sexual assault on a minor. President Trump was right. They’re not sending their best,” said Rep. Nehls.

Both Reps. Nehls and Buchanan voted to impeach Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas in February.
