Mills Assured That Trump Will Win 2024 Election

Over 60 Republican lawmakers held a press conference this week to introduce a resolution declaring that President Donald Trump (R) "did not engage in insurrection or rebellion against the United States.” Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz (R) led the delegation, and Florida Rep. Cory Mills (R) game an impassioned speech in defense of the president. Discounting push back against President Trump as "election interference," Rep. Mills affirmed that the former president would win the 2024 election.

Rep. Mills spoke to reporters this week, coming to the defense of President Trump.

In his comments, Rep. Mills affirmed that "President Trump did not incite violence," adding that "this was not an insurrection."

“If this was an insurrection, then what about all the pro-Hamas members who sit in our Capitol and disrupt legislation, which just happened last week. Was that an insurrection?" Rep. Mills questioned, expressing that the dissent has come from "an unarmed group who was disrupting federal legislative process."

"That’s what everyone in the media and in the left continues to try and claim, but the bottom line is that it was never about policing, and it was all about politics," he said, calling the efforts against President Trump "election interference."

He further commented on the upcoming 2024 election, chiding President Joe Biden's (D) win in the 2020 election. It's clear that the Florida Republican does not believe the election results, and he expressed that Democrats have launched an effort to affect any chance that President Trump has to win the upcoming election.

"This is trying to remove someone that they know will be the President of the United States. Someone who was the 45^th, 46^th, and will be the 47^th president of the United States. This is about ensuring that they can try and remove him from the ballot by attacking his family," Rep. Mills warned.
