Biden Camp Rallies Against Nationwide Abortion Ban

Share

National public opinion polls show that President Donald Trump (R) has overtaken President Joe Biden (D). Though Ambassador Nikki Haley (R) maintains that she has the campaign to defeat President Trump, pundits and voters are prepared to see a 2020 rematch. In an effort to aggressively campaign against President Trump, the Biden campaign is warning that his Republican challenger wants to “ban abortion nationwide.”

Abortion has taken center stage for Democrats as they push back against Republicans.

Leading up to the New Hampshire Caucus, the Democratic Party has bolstered its messaging against Republicans, calling the likes of President Trump and Florida Senator Rick Scott (R) as enemies of the pro-choice movement.

In a message to supporters, the Biden campaign reiterates its commitment to preserving the right to choose while denouncing President Trump.

“Ever since the Supreme Court overturned Roe and took a constitutional right away from the American people, Republican so-called leaders have seized this opportunity to attack our basic freedoms,” the message.

“Republican-controlled states across the country have passed extreme bans restricting women’s ability to access care and threatening doctors and nurses with jail time for doing their jobs,” the message continues. It also warns that Republicans are planning “to go even further.”

Warning that Republicans like President Trump are pursuing a nationwide ban on abortions, the Biden campaign calls on supporters to help preserve “basic health care.”

President Biden has received criticism for not having a more aggressive strategy to campaign against President Trump. This reportedly struck a nerve with President Barack Obama (D), who warned the incumbent that President Trump could be a more formidable foe than they initially planned him to be.

So far, President Trump has maintained a wide lead in the Republican primary, which has shrunk to just him and Ambassador Haley. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) was the most recent candidate to drop out of the race. He then endorsed President Trump.
