Could First Son Hunter Biden's recent indictments for tax crimes have an ulterior motive, such as covering up Joe Biden's possible involvement in supposed influence peddling? Representative Byron Donalds (R-FL) called the timing of the indictments "suspect" in a recent appearance on Fox News's Sunday Morning Futures, pointing to the fact that previous statutes of limitations for similar crimes were allowed to expire.
Host Maria Bartiromo pointed out that the Department of Justice (DOJ) was "sitting on [the new indictments] for a long time, but they decided to indict Hunter Biden the weekend before he was supposed to go under oath in a closed-door testimony."
"I totally agree that the timing is suspect," Rep. Donalds replied, adding,"[Hunter's] attorney Abbe Lowell says that, 'Oh, the only reason why he got indicted is because his last name is Biden.' No, Abbe, the only reason that it took so long for him to be indicted is because his last name is Biden and because House Republicans uncovered this web of corruption surrounding Joe Biden that implicates Hunter Biden and James Biden."
Moreover, Rep. Donalds referenced the previous allowance by the DOJ to let the statute of limitations of other tax crimes possibly committed by Hunter expire, which he suggests was "100%" a coverup.
"That is why those tax charges are allowed to lapse under the statute of limitations because the total intent was to not bring any charges or very limited charges against Hunter Biden and sweep this all under the rug. The entire purpose is to protect the Big Guy, Joe Biden," Donalds continued.
Ultimately, however, Donalds said it would soon be "crystal clear" that President Biden should be impeached "Because, number one, he accepted bribes through his family from foreign nations, especially China and others. Number two, he knew that his brother and his son were violating the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA). I believe he is a co-conspirator in that, because if you knowingly understand that your family is getting money from overseas, and you do not tell them to register as foreign agents or foreign lobbyists, how you want to define it, that is a violation of federal law."
