State Rep. Fine Responds to Anti-Israel Sentiments on Social Media

Share

State Representative Randy Fine (R-FL) has faced some criticism over comments he has made concerning the Israel-Hamas war.

Multiple anti-Zionist and anti-Israeli groups have attacked Rep. Fine for his continuous support and constant ridicule of Hamas after they killed 1,200 Israeli citizens and took hundreds more hostage.

For instance, Rep. Fine shot back at a self-described non-partisan organization known as “Stop Zionist Hate” after the group responded to one of his posts that said, “May the streets of Gaza overflow with the blood of these animals,” referring to Hamas.

“May the streets of Gaza overflow with the blood of these animals. #AvengeThem,” Fine posted.

The anti-Zionist group responded.

“Florida State Representative Randy Fine prays for the streets of Gaza to overflow with Palestinian blood. Additionally, he refers to Floridians, whom he is elected to represent, as ‘animals.’”

However, Rep. Fine had a clever clapback in mind.

“Amazing this Hamas group believes all Palestinians are terrorists. I didn’t say it — they did. My tweet (which they have altered) referenced Hamas terrorists (who ARE animals and whose deaths should be celebrated). So what do they know about ‘Palestinians’ that we don’t?” said Fine.

Additionally, another group known as “Defund Israel Now” called out Fine for his “unwavering support for Israel.”

“Who is Randy Fine? A jewish house representative in the district of Florida, he is also an Israeli dual citizen. Earlier this year, he adopted Bill H0011 expressing the states ‘unwavering’ support for Israel. Floridians tax dollars are used to send financial aid to Israel. No wonder, he can flee to Israel anytime he wants,” said the group.

The state representative said that he is not in fact, Israeli.

“This is just another form of terrorism, which they want to use to intimidate folks into keeping quiet. Won’t work with me. Btw, I’m not Israeli. But the idiots do show their Jew hate when want us to go to a place that they then want to wipe off the map. #ReligionOfDumb,” posted Rep. Fine.

Recently, Fine switched his presidential endorsement of Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) to former President Donald Trump (R), saying “Trump has never let us down.”

"Today, I am endorsing @realDonaldTrump. "The past 2 weeks have made me realize our choice as Jews is simple. We can vote for the Gov who says the right things, or we can vote for the President who actually does them. When it comes to action, Trump has never let us down," Rep. Fine announced.

Randy Fine represents the 33rd District in the Florida House of Representatives.
