Earlier in November, Representative Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) claimed the January 6th surveillance footage tapes would be released. Representative Matt Gaetz (R-FL) recently appeared on Andrew Wilkow's radio program, seemingly confirming their release "in tranches" on an unmentioned website "in days."

Wilkow posted the audio clip on X (formerly Twitter), which started off with a discussion with Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) and how he differs from previous Republican Speakers. Rep. Gaetz agreed with the sentiment, saying, "Look at what has already happened during the speakership: We finally got the subpoenas prepared to go out to Hunter and Frank Biden, that had not happened during the entirety of the [Kevin] McCarthy (R-CA) speakership."

From here, Rep. Gaetz said he "could bring some news with you" on the upcoming release of the January 6th tapes.

"The way that the January 6th tapes will be through a website, where any member of the public can go and observe the videos that are being released. My expectation is, they are going to be released in tranches and that the first tranche to be released will be in days, not weeks," Gaetz continued.

The Florida Congressman did not give a name to any specific website, Rep. Luna previously claimed to The Blaze would upload the footage. Perhaps a new website specifically for uploading the tapes?

Regardless, Gaetz has long been demanding the release of the security camera tapes from January 6th, saying in January 2023 that the footage would show "a lot of exculpatory evidence" that the protesters "never intended to harm anyone, and never intended to breach any type of security barrier."

In September, he attended a vigil held for prisoners taken on January 6th, vowing to release the footage prior to McCarthy's ouster.

"I believe that it is critically important that we get a full release of the January 6th tapes as Speaker McCarthy promised. I do not believe that he has fulfilled that promise. I think that is dishonest, particularly to people who have borne the brunt of this two-tiered justice system," Gaetz told the vigil attendees.

UPDATE: Speaker Johnson announced links are available to view the footage on X:
