The nasty online cage match between supporters of former President Donald Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in the 2024 Republican presidential primary race continues to leave bodies littered across the GOP political battlefield, including that of Esther Boyd, the wife of Governor DeSantis-appointed Secretary of State Cord Byrd.

According to Laura Loomer, the controversial conservative investigative journalist and former congressional candidate who supports former President Trump, Mrs. Boyd is a “sexual deviant member of Moms 4 Liberty.”

Loomer appears to be going after Mrs. Byrd because because she has questioned former President Trump on his abortion position, and even went after Loomer herself for defending the former president. In addition, Byrd appeared to have falsely accused Loomer of supporting Vivek Ramaswamy over President Trump.

Byrd joins Riley Gaines and Christina Pushaw as the most recent public figures Loomer has “Loomered.”

Pushaw, who runs DeSantis's  Rapid Response shop, and has been reprimanded in the past, took a lot of heat for using the misfortune of a Holocaust survivor to jab at President Trump.

Loomer is taking credit for having defeated Byrd in her Florida Federation of Republican Women president elections last weekend, stating that she “helped expose the fact that during her previous marriage, she slept with at least 12 other men and sued her husband so that she didn’t have to pay him child support when he had custody of their kid. She didn’t want to pay him because she said she had so many affairs while she was married to him, that she didn’t even think that her husband was the father of her child.”

Allegations like these are sensational and must be backed up with proof. Unfortunately for Byrd, Loomer brought her receipts.

Loomer has been relentless with her exposing of Byrd, reiterating her claim that Byrd was unfaithful to her past husband with 12 men, and even called on the Moms 4 Liberty group to condemn Byrd.

“What type of mother dodges child support and tells her husband that she doesn’t know who the father of her kid is because she SLEPT WITH AT LEAST 12 MEN WHILE SHE WAS MARRIED????,” added Loomer.

Loomer also posted the Moms 4 Liberty press release of Byrd’s being appointed by Governor Ron DeSantis to the State Board of Education that was up on the group's website.

That release has since been taken down by the pro-Family, pro-parental rights activist group.

DeSantis is struggling to keep his head above water in the race for second place in Iowa and is being torched in the latest public opinion polls conducted in New Hampshire, Nevada, South Carolina, and Florida, but is showing an uptick in online support across the social media platforms.

The latest average of polls has Trump beating DeSantis and Ambassador Nikki Haley by an average of 44.5 percentage points. The NBC News poll shows DeSantis and Haley making ground on Trump.

Just last week, DeSantis boasted about receiving the endorsement of Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds, but according to a story by The Messenger's Marc Caputo, that endorsement has not given DeSantis the expected bump in the polls he was expecting.

Iowans will caucus on January 15, 2023 to decide who they feel should be the Republican presidential  nominee.
