U.S. on Brink of Being Dragged into Israel's War Against Hamas

Share

We are in the second week of Israel’s holy war against radical Islam, and all signs point in the direction that the U.S. will get directly involved in a military offensive against Hamas terrorists, possibly Hezbollah, and maybe against Iran.

The Biden administration has sent the U.S.S. Ford and U.S.S. Eisenhower naval battle groups to the Middle East to act as a deterrent to other foreign nations like Iran and Syria, from getting involved in the war.

But while the naval show of force could very well act as a show of force against the enemies of Israel, the fact that the U.S. is also sending Air Force F-15s, F-16s, and especially  A-10 Warthogs into that theatre of war, it is safe to say that the U.S. military is planning some sort of direct or indirect kinetic action in support of Israeli troops, and or would serve overwatch, for America military ground troops.

For those of you with little knowledge about the F-16 and A-10 Warthog,  let me just give you some insight into what they were built for.

The F-16, which is strategically positioned in the Middle East and in Europe, was not built for Close Air Support (CAS) but has engaged enemy assets in that role throughout Operation Iraqi Freedom and in Afghanistan

Now, the A-10 is another story.

With the U.S. specifically deploying the A-10 to the Middle East, it is signaling that the military will be conducting CAS for a military force, most likely the IDF and or U.S. Special Operation units like Army Special Forces like Delta Force, and Navy Seals, like Devgruv, or Seal Team 6.

The Warthog has been in service for 50 years and was solely designed to provide CAS to us U.S. on the ground.

Again, the U.S. and the Israeli air forces will rule the sky and will be able to hit targets from thousands of feet, but the A-10 and its 30mm cannon will be available to hit armored personell careers, tanks, and ground troops.

Iran has now threatened that if Israel invades Gaza, it will direct its allies like Hezbollah, to attack Israel.

If Iran attacks Israel using its proxies, the U.S. will have no other option but to engage the threat, and could find itself facing down the Iranian military.

Earlier this week, the Biden administration traveled to Israel and Arab nations to gauge their thoughts on the impending land incursion of Gaza by Israel.

"There's a determination in every country I went to, to make sure that this conflict doesn't spread," said Secretary of State Antony Blinken "They are using their own influence, their own relationships, to try to make sure that this doesn't happen."
