After the horrifying terrorist attack in Israel committed by Hamas which left nearly 1,000 Israelis dead and thousands wounded, a worker’s union for Starbucks – known as Starbucks Workers United – shared their support for Palestine (which is backed by Hamas). Senator Rick Scott (R-FL) has called for a boycott of the store until the corporation denounces the terrorist organization.
In now-deleted social media posts, the Starbucks Workers United (@SBWorkersUnited on X) account said, “Solidarity with Palestine.”
This should not have been considered controversial. Human rights are not up for debate. Unions must be free to speak up about this, or our solidarity isn't real. pic.twitter.com/GuHp2PKeUY

One of the union’s founders, Jaz Brisack (also shown above), said “There’s no ‘two sides’ to apartheid. Free Palestine.”

Since, Starbucks as an organization has not released a statement regarding the Israel-Palestine War. Should they have to? That’s up for debate. However, Sen. Scott believes the silence is deafening.
This is disgusting. Every American should condemn the atrocities that Iran-backed Hamas terrorists committed in Israel.
Boycott Starbucks until its leadership strongly denounces and takes action against this horrific support of terrorism.https://t.co/lny8eyQjxe

“This is disgusting. Every American should condemn the atrocities that Iran-backed Hamas terrorists committed in Israel. Boycott Starbucks until its leadership strongly denounces and takes action against this horrific support of terrorism,” said Sen. Scott.
Recently, Scott signed a letter urging President Joe Biden (D) to call for the G7 nations to take “coordinated action to further isolate Iran with severe sanctions.”
While we appreciate the willingness of the leaders of France, the United Kingdom, Italy and Germany to stand in support of Israel as expressed in your joint statement yesterday, the statement failed to direct any action toward the evil behind these attacks: Iran. We know that the Iranian regime is behind the brutal attacks on innocent civilians being carried out by terrorists from Hamas and Palestinian Jihad,” wrote the Florida senator and nine of his colleagues.
They continued, “The United States and our allies cannot ignore this reality for a second longer. We the undersigned senators urge you to immediately convene the G7 nations and take coordinated action to further isolate Iran with severe sanctions and action that will strike directly at the wealth that this evil brings to the Ayatollah and the Iranian mullahs.”
In the letter, the senators concluded, “Now, it falls on you as President of the United States to lead the freedom-loving world. We must punish the evil Iranian regime, which remains the world’s largest state sponsor of terror, and deny its ability to continue supporting the brutality witnessed in Israel from ever occurring again.”
This is a developing story.
